The UCA Board of Trustees approved a two percent salary increase for classified employees during its Dec. 17 meeting.
The administration made the recommendation after receiving clarification from the聽淫性视频 Department of Higher Education that classified employees were eligible to receive the salary increase. The two percent cost of living聽(COLA) increase聽is effective Jan. 1.聽 The increase was聽not included in the fiscal year聽2010-11聽 budget and will not be retroactive.
Those eligible for the COLA increase are:
Classified employees – All permanent,聽current full-time classified staff employed聽as of December 31, 2010.聽
Faculty and non-classified employees –聽Those permanent, full-time employees starting聽between April 1, 2010 and September 30, 2010 will receive the two percent COLA.聽 These non-classified employees聽and faculty聽were excluded from the budgeted increase聽for July 1 聽because they were not employees of record聽as of聽April 1.聽聽
Those faculty and non-classified employees who received the 2.25% beginning on their Dec. 15th check will not receive an additional聽 two percent.
